So fleeting

Cherry blossoms were so fast the trees are green now but still pretty and spring is in the air. I was on the trail today and I was running my fastest and enjoying the smell of the trees blooming. The smell reminded me of pez.

Post-holiday blues

Can I attribute this fatigue to the common woes of life or to the particular lifestyle of sharing many homes for the past few months? i am extremely grateful to my family and friends, they are precious. they are good people. but i am tired.

My New Years written in the style of an elementary schooler essay

It feels good to be in Williamsburg for the end of 2011 and the start of this calendar year. It makes me feel warm and I even get goosebumps sometimes when I am really happy. There is always food and people to joke with and games to play. For example, I eat a pastry with cream cheese, thai curry with rice, crackers and cheese, drink wine. The sounds I enjoy here are of Dominic blabbering, mom and dad's jazzy music from the kitchen, Larry's lil wayne music from the garage, political debates from the dining room. I feel warmth from a bonfire. I play basketball, badminton, sing karaoke, play jenga, drinking card games, I run and walk. I see friends. It's a great place to be for the holidays.
